Creative Football supports adults with mental health and wellbeing challenges through the power of football. They offer a number of football initiatives including Blokes United, Girls United and the Social Inclusion Football League, alongside several 'Just Play' sessions.

Creative Support is a national provider of Health & Social Care. At a local level it has worked in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and other stakeholders for many years.

Working alongside Sport England and Together an Active Future Its ‘Creative Football’ project provides a range of bespoke football initiatives including the Social Inclusion Football League, Blokes United and Girls United along with several ‘Just Play’ sessions and access to training, learning and other activity and social groups.

Based at the new Witton Park 3G Facility, It uses Football in a positive way to engage people informally, anchoring football at the heart of relationships to understand and help with wider needs.

The aim of this Project is to grow this innovative offer across Pennine Lancashire focusing on developing two new Blokes/Girls United settings initially, using the experience and passion of Creative Support to create the networks, volunteers and drive in targeted localities. In addition to this it will look to expand the Social Inclusion Football League to engage more Services to enable its service users to have access to new support networks in the lead up to discharge / independent living.
